Plant lighting has two key points: the choice of the wavelength of light, the collocation of light colors, the vast majority of plant illumination lamps are now made of red (630-640nm is conventional, 660nm is more expensive) and blue light (460470nm is conventional The 440nm violet is expensive, but it can also add light sources of other colors (yellow, orange) depending on the actual properties of the plant. The study found that the light color ratio of plant lights required by most plants is 8:1 or 7:1 (red than blue).
According to scientists' experimental results, red light is mainly to promote the growth of plants, and the main role of blue light is to promote the flowering of plants. Therefore, plants like non-blossoms such as Chinese cabbage and green vegetables have a large demand for red light, and plants with flowering results such as cucumbers and tomatoes have a certain demand for violet light.
LEDinside survey found that there are not many LED plant lights in China, and most of them are concentrated in Shenzhen. At present, the sales market for LED plant lights is also concentrated in Japan, South Korea, China, the United States, Europe, and other countries and regions where there are fewer agricultural personnel. The reporter saw in the exhibition hall of the Federal Department of Plant Lighting, the shape of the plant lighting products is mainly in the form of round, square, lamp, etc., and the power of these lamps is generally about 300W, the light source used is 3W single A lamp beads.
Compared to traditional plants, plant lighting and LED plant lighting advantages:
Energy-saving: It can directly produce the light that the plants need, produce photons of the same lumen, and consume less power;
Efficient: LED is a monochromatic light that can fit the needs of the plant and produce matching light waves that traditional plant lights can't.
The disadvantages of LED plant lighting compared to traditional plants, etc.:
Luminous angle: Traditional plant lighting can be 360 degrees, but LED plant lighting can not do this;
Heat dissipation: Due to the relatively high power of LED plant lights, special cooling fans need to be installed.
Currently, LED lighting factories are still in the cognitive and running-in period in the Chinese market, and the next two to three years will be the rapid rise of LED plant lighting in the Chinese market. It is conservatively estimated that LED plant lights will enter the outbreak period in the Chinese market for five years.
